How it is made

The 2019 technical sheet lists 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc, 5% Merlot, and 5% Petit Verdot. It also states 18 months in French oak, with 80% of components in new barrels and 20% in second- or third-use barrels.

Alpha M is a good page for explaining that “Bordeaux blend” outside Bordeaux is not automatic imitation. In Apalta, the grammar is French, but Chilean climate and light change the accent.
